Empowerment disputes with a gender, race or “me too” angle

Many of our cases involve diversity or “me too” issues.  Sometimes these manifest as “empowerment disputes”, where we can help a marginalised member of society emerge feeling empowered.  In other cases we unfortunately see men being presumed guilty because of their gender.  Hanna Roos has recently interviewed Johnny Depp’s lawyer, Camille Vasquez, on this point.  Camille rightly reframed “me too” as “us too” – justice for all.
